With a wide background in several technologies, Rod Razavi specializes in database programming and strong customer service. He brings to Zuri Group 8 years of experience delivering quality customer service to non-profit organizations ranging from The Jackson Laboratory to The March of Dimes. Working for a wide variety of non-profits has enabled him to gain experience in the various verticals of the non-profit sector including Arts & Cultural (New York Public Library), Environmental, Faith-Based (Evangelical Free Church of America), Foundations, Healthcare (Henry Ford Health Systems), Human Services, K-12, and Higher Education (Yale and The Ohio State University).
Prior to joining Zuri Group, Rod worked at Blackbaud, as a Senior Data Analyst responsible for quality database conversions, services and customizations into The Financial Edge, The Raiser’s Edge, and Blackbaud eCRM. Before moving to Charleston and joining Blackbaud, Rod worked with the Cincinnati-based simulated Fantasy Sports website WhatIfSports.com, Inc. developing web-based fantasy sports games. While his passion and education for technology began very early, it wasn’t until he attended Rochester Institute of Technology that Rod began polishing his programming skill set. Rod graduated from RIT with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. During his time in Rochester, he spent 3 years playing Men’s Varsity tennis and helped captain the team to a league championship his senior year. Other than tennis, Rod enjoys spending his free time playing soccer, supporting Cincinnati sports teams, and traveling.
